Once a year, church members gather together to sample a variety of delicious cakes and sing "happy birthday" to all of us, and to receive monetary donations, reminiscent of the age of each person's birthday. For example, if a person is 50 years old, they could give 50 pennies, 50 dimes, or 50 quarters, and so on. The gift can be in any denomination to commemorate their birthday age.
