Come Join Us this Sunday!

Sunday Service

Worship is the central focus of our faith community at Middlefield Federated Church. Services are held every Sunday at 10:00 AM at United Churches of Durham (228 Main Street, Durham, CT). It is also available online each week, following the service, for those who are unable to worship with us in person. We strive to make our services a welcoming and inclusive environment. Our church facility is handicap accessible and we offer headsets for those who would like a hearing aid.

What to Expect

All are welcome to join us at service and come as you are. Feel free to come wearing whatever makes you feel most comfortable. When you arrive to the church, you’ll find a large parking lot and a side entrance to the Church. If you require assistance entering the building, simply let one of our ushers know! Upon entering the Church, you will be in our Narthex, where you will receive a bulletin. We also have special children’s bulletin and large-print bulletins upon request.

Communion

At MFC, we offer the sacrament of communion on the first Sunday of every month. We practice an open table for our communion sacrament and all are invited to partake in worship and communion, regardless of membership or baptismal status. Our denominations understand the sacrament of communion to be a means of grace. The sacrament of communion is an opportunity to enter into closer relationship with God through our congregational life.
